An Encore Reading of THE CLOCKWORK PROFESSOR

Clockwork Encore logo

Craving more steampunk adventure after The Tumbleweed Zephyr? Return to the world of New Providence with special encore readings of The Clockwork Professor by Maggie Lee!

Pork Filled Productions presents two chances to see this special staged reading of The Clockwork Professor on Wednesdays, August 19 and 26, at 7:30 pm at the Mainstage of 12th Avenue Arts (1620 12th Avenue, Seattle, WA), featuring some members of the original multicultural cast from our 2013 production.

Professor Seamus Pemberton is a humble inventor, a quiet man of science. But as political unrest sweeps over the great city of New Providence, buried secrets erupt from his past to threaten everything that he holds dear, and perhaps even the Crown itself!

Admission is FREE with a valid ticket stub from The Tumbleweed Zephyr,  or $5 at the door or online at Brown Paper Tickets: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/1648512

The Tumbleweed Zephyr isn’t a direct sequel to The Clockwork Professor, but it’s all connected” says PFP Executive Director Roger Tang. “With our remount of this reading, the audience can catch those connections and further explore the New Providence universe.  So if you missed Clockwork the first time, or just want to see it again, now’s your chance!”

Hugo Award Winner Phil Foglio to Illustrate TUMBLEWEED ZEPHYR Poster

T-minus three months until The Tumbleweed Zephyr opens at 12th Ave Arts!

foglios01The gang at Pork Filled Productions is excited to announce that Hugo Award winning creator and steampunk guiding light, Phil Foglio, will be illustrating The Tumbleweed Zephyr poster (with Kaja Foglio and Cheyenne Wright). Phil created the poster for our first trip to New Providence, The Clockwork Professor, and we’re happy to get to work with him again.

Folks may know him as the famed creator of the web comic Girl Genius (girlgeniusonline.com). Others know he’s  the creator of Buck Godot, Zap Gun for Hire. Still others know he was behind the long running What’s New with Phil & Dixie for Dragon Magazine and TSR Games. (And only the exceeding mad know him for all three, plus his DC Comics work).

cropped-blog_headerThe PFP team shot the breeze with the Foglios on their Girl Genius podcast. We  come in at the 8:30 mark. Careful listeners can glean a special surprise we’re planning to unleash with the Zephyr production.

So tune in the podcast, check out the latest page for Girl Genius and start counting the days until The Tumbleweed Zephyr!
