Playwright’s Comments:
100 Hungry Ghosts had been sitting on my laptop for a while when I saw Pork Filled Productions’ call for Unleashed 2020. I’m so grateful for the chance to work on this play again with this incredible group of collaborators. The play mashes together several things I’ve been thinking about for years: Asian ghost stories, the urban legends of New Jersey, and what it means to hold onto grief. Thanks to everyone at PFP for the incredible support and to the folx who came out to hear it this evening.
