Playwright’s Bio:
Julia Izumi’s work has been developed at MTC, The Bushwick Starr, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, WP Theater, Great Plains Theatre Conference, Berkeley Rep’s Ground Floor Residency and NNPN/Kennedy Center’s MFA Playwrights’ Workshop. She is a current member of Clubbed Thumb’s Early-Career Writers’ group and New Georges’ Audrey Residency. MFA: Brown University.

Dramaturg’s Bio:
Stephanie Kim-Bryan has worked professionally in TV, film, games, and theatre, locally and nationally. Her latest endeavors include struggling with bar chords on her guitar and working with Matcha Theatre Works – a non-profit arts organization focused on showcasing new theatrical works featuring strong female voices (www.machatheatreworks.com).

Director’s Bio:
Kiefer Harrington (he/him) is excited to be back with PFP! Last time he was here, Kiefer got to direct the virtual reading ofShe Devil of the China Seas. Kiefer was also involved with UNLEASHED 2019, working with Kendall Uyeji on his playOld & New. Other credits include:Hitchhiker (By the Seat of Your Theatre Company), Snow White(Assistant Director, Seattle Children’s Theatre).
