Staff Bios
Roger Tang (he/him) Playwright/Producer
Roger is a theatre veteran of over four decades who began with folks like David Henry Hwang and Philip Kan Gotanda (before they had artistic middle names). He has worked with Seattle’s 14/18 Festival, penned numerous sketches for the Pork Filled Players and several pieces for SIS Productions’ Revealed series of site-specific theatre work.
As a producer, he introduced Northwest audiences to such writers as Qui Nguyen, Prince Gomolvilas, Carla Ching and Genny Lim and has produced numerous Northwest and world premieres, from Hwang’s Bondage and Yellow Face to Maggie Lee’s The Clockwork Professor.
He has sat on the boards of ReAct Theatre and the Northwest Asian American Theatre (where he helped build the Theatre Off Jackson). Called the “Godfather of Asian American theatre” by A. Magazine, he’s received a 2016 Equity Award from the Equity In the Entertainment Industry Symposium at Stanford University, and is Secretary of the Consortium of Asian American Theaters and Artists (CAATA) and chairs the membership committee. He edits the Asian American Theatre Revue, the web’s foremost resource on Asian American theatre (www.aatrevue.com).

Kiefer Kaname Harrington (he/him) Director
Kiefer is excited to leave behind the alternate reality of Zoom theatre and get back to theatre-making in-person! He has also worked on Resilience! 2021 and the reading of miku and the gods as part of Unleashed 2020. Other credits include Snow White (Assistant Director, SCT) and Hitchhiker (Director, By the Seat of Our Theatre Company). Kiefer received his bachelor’s of sciences in theatre arts management at Ithaca College. He is grateful to PFP for being his artistic home, and is always looking for more opportunities to grow and work as a director (he’s got that MFA aspiration).
Grecia Leal Pardo (she/her) Stage Manager
Grecia is a Latina theater artist based in Duwamish and Coast Salish lands (Seattle). She’s been lucky to work with various companies around town, including eSe Teatro, SIS Productions, Pratidhwani, and Sound Theatre Company, most recently having co-Stage Managed Gaslight (Angel Street). She is excited to be back working with Pork Filled Productions after having Stage Managed their digital production of CJ: An Aspanglish Play last year, and having directed The Golden Record for their Unleashed 2020 festival. Grecia is also very excited to be co-SMing with Alyda and to be working with such a talented team!
P. Alyda Sorm (she/her) Stage Manager
Alyda is a second generation Khmer American artist, born and raised in South King County. She’s excited to be working with Pork Filled and the amazing She Devil company, including the other half of the SM dream team, Grecia. Alyda began doing theatre at UW, where she stage managed Goldie, Max and Milk (2018), Incident at Vichy (2018) and Bull in a China Shop (2022). She also ASMed for A Comedy of Errors (Seattle Shakespeare, 2021) and Two Mile Hollow (Intiman, 2022). She is also the Associate Production Manager at Sound Theatre. During whatever free time is left, Alyda learns traditional Khmer dances or attempts to co-write a Southeast Asian American fantasy novel while her two bunnies silently judge and cheer her on.
Omar Faust (he/they) Production Manager, Producer
Omar is a queer mixed-race theater artist who was born in Seattle and went to school for theater at Bard College. Upon returning from walking across Spain after college, Omar stage-managed and produced for several theaters around town. For three years Omar lived in a co-op focusing on diversity and accessibility. Despite loving board games, card games, D&D, and hiking, bringing people together to tell their stories is the true driving force.
Stacey Bush (she/her) Fight Choreographer
Stacey Bush has created violence for Seattle Shakespeare Company, Washington Ensemble Theatre, ACT Theater, Seattle Repertory Theatre, Greenstage, Theater Schmeater (RIP), MAP Theatre and Annex Theatre. She has taught theatrical violence for both Seattle Children’s Theater’s YAI program and Greenstage’s summer camps. She is the Managing Director of Performers’ Forge, a local performance company focusing on the exhibition and education of theatrical interpretations of historical and modern violence. She is excited to work with Pork Filled Productions for the first time after being a long-time fan. Many thanks to the cast and crew for this swashbuckling spectacular experience.
Kendra Pierce Asst. Fight Choreographer
Kendra is so honored to be finally be working with Pork Filled Productions for the first time! She has a BFA in Acting from Cornish College of the Arts. Before college, she grew up in her fathers various Taekwondo studios, watching him teach and would eventually get her 1st degree black belt. That journey transitioned when being introduced to stage fighting at Cornish. From then on, a new passion ignited. Since then, she has been extremely grateful to see her own fight (and dance) choreography on stage with some phenomenal Seattle theater companies. Being apart of this show specifically has given her an incredible gift. The gift of opportunity to help paint this incredible story of a strong female fighter, nothing could be more important to Kendra at this time. She would like to Send love to this cast, crew, and Stacey Bush for allowing her to honor her father in a way she never thought she’d have the chance to do. Kendra would love to dedicate her work in this show to him, Jack Pierce. He taught her to be a fighter, of course for protection, but also to be a fighter in all aspects of life. To always carry courage, bravery and an indomitable spirit. The Stage combat in this show allows a daughter to feel closer to her father since he left this earth 4 years ago. “This one is for you, pops.” Also, a big thank you to her partner in crime, Brandon, XO! And, Thanks so much to you, the patron, for taking the time and energy to come see this powerful story and having a part in keeping theatre alive! It’s good to see you all again.
Daniel Rector Dramaturg
Daniel Rector has been working as a dramaturge in Seattle for ten years, most frequently with Pork Filled Productions. He helped develop Maggie Lee’s wonderful New Providence trilogy, as well as working with the Unleashed! festival and of course on She Devil. He is also an author of Science Fiction and Fantasy, with his works appearing in such magazines as Analog Science Fiction & Fact and Mysterion. He’d like to thank his friends and family for all their support, and Robert Howard for teaching him from a young age that swords are both the cause of, and solution to, all of life’s problems!
Chris Parker Set Designer
This is Chris’ first foray into set design and is honored to be working with such a great group of creatives. When Chris isn’t finding new ways to support the community through design, he enjoys expanding his knowledge as an architect. Outside of work, you’ll find Chris enjoying sports, sketching, and baking. An explorer at heart, Chris also enjoys traveling and discovering what the city has to offer.
Chih-Hung Shao Lighting Designer
Chih-Hung is a professional lighting designer and a chocoholic. His super power is eating Nutella toast every morning and never getting tired of it. Cleaning is therapeutic for him, and of course eating chocolate has the same effect. The most recent inspirational moment for Chih-Hung was being able to observe pure moonlight without any urban light pollution while he went camping last summer. He is excited to collaborate with She Devils production team and can’t wait to see what chemistry we will create!
Laura Uykei Costume Designer
Laura Lowe Uyeki is thrilled to be making her designing debut at Pork Filled Productions! She holds a BA in Theater from The University of Puget Sound. Outside of Pork Filled Productions, she has worked on various theater gigs in both the Seattle/Tacoma area and the Bay Area. Currently, she is working as a costume designer for her theater company, Rainy Day Artistic Collective, in their digital adaptation of Cyrano De Bergerac (coming in October 2022). When not at work or working on creative projects with other theater artists, Laura can be found spending time with friends and family, singing, doing yoga and baking. Huge s/o to her partner in crime Jack Conley for being her support system in everything she does.
Robin Macartney (she/her) Prop Designer
Robin Macartney is a Gregory award winning set and props designer who has been fortunate to work with a large number of theatre companies across the Puget sound. She is resident set designer at Theatre off Jackson, as well as being the Scene Shop Supervisor at the University of Puget Sound. Her last show with PFP was The Brothers Paranormal.
Josh Valdez (he/him) Sound Designer, Producer
Josh is a multidisciplinary artist and educator in the Greater Seattle area. He has worked with numerous community theatre houses, filmmakers, and musicians alike to create immersive soundscapes and ambient musical scores for new works. Aside from theatre, Josh also serves to support first-generation students in college access/persistence, hosts a community discord server, loves animes, and enjoys DJing every now and then.
Saleh Matt (he/him) Asst.Sound Designer & Composter
Saleh is the assistant sound designer for She-Devil and is a musician/producer on the side. He enjoys working on various soundscape designs and enjoys creating for genres such as electronic, fantasy, punk, hip-hop and neo soul. When he is not producing or learning a new instrument you will find the native Seattlite working in tech, paddleboarding and skating around Greater Seattle.
Stephani Sachs, Puppet Builder
Since 2011, Stephani Sachs has taught 100’s of humans to build puppets. The founder of Half Pint Puppets, Stephani designed and built big, furry costumes for Children’s Educational Theater in Salem, Oregon. While attending a workshop at The 2nd City in Chicago , she attended an improvised puppet show, and was hooked. Puppets are like a costume for your hand! Stephani taught puppet building, along with costuming, at the Children’s Educational Theater until moving to Seattle with the quest of putting a puppet on every hand in the city!

Anna Shih (she/he) Asst. Lighting Designer
Anna is a rising junior studying drama design and computer science at the University of Washington. She is beyond grateful for this opportunity to work with this talented group of people on such an amazing show. A huge thank you to her family and friends for all of their support. Other productions she has been a part of include: Sweeney Todd (Village Theatre), Passage (UW School of Drama), The Children’s Hour (Undergraduate Theatre Society), Beaver Slurpee (Undergraduate Theatre Society), and The Importance of Being Earnest (UW School of Drama),
Kimberley Le (she/her) Technical Associate
is excited to be working with Pork Filled Production as her first post-grad job. A recent alumnus at Seattle U, with a Theater major with Departmental Honors, Le is excited to venture out into the the Seattle theater community and make her mark. She would like to dedicate her first show post-grad to Alex and Lia, for their undue patience; to Sunam, for grounding her; to Jax, for always listening; to Kristine Le, for her sisterhood, and to Emily, for saving her in every way possible. And finally, she would like to thank the “She Devil” and Pork Filled family for their open arms and generosity. Remember you are always worthy of love. Enjoy the show!
